Egypt to experience hot weather as of Thursday
CAIRO - 13 May 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warns of rising temperatures Thursday, with Cairo reaching 38 degrees Celsius in the shade.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has announced another rise in temperatures on Thursday, Thursday, with very hot weather expected across most of the country.
Temperatures are expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius in the shade in Greater Cairo and 41 degrees Celsius in Upper Egypt.
Weather Description
This period will see moderate temperatures in the early morning, becoming hot to very hot during the day across most of the country, and moderate temperatures at night.
Windy conditions are expected from Thursday, May 14th to Monday, May 18th across most of the country, with intermittent periods of wind. These winds may stir up sand and dust in some areas on Thursday, May 14th.
