Wednesday's weather: Significant Rise in temperatures; Cairo records highs of 33°C

CAIRO - 15 April 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a significant rise in temperatures across most of the country on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

 

The weather was cool in the early morning, and is hot to very hot during the day in most areas, warm on the northwestern coast, and is expected to be mild at night.

 

 

Key Expected Weather Phenomena:

 

There is a slight chance of intermittent light rain in parts of the northwestern coastal governorates.

 

Some areas of Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, and northern Upper Egypt are expected to see dust haze during the day.

 

 

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts the expected maximum and minimum temperatures for today as follows:

- Marsa Matrouh:
