Tuesday Weather: Temperatures to rise again; highs in Cairo record 29°C

CAIRO - 14 April 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a further rise in temperatures across most of the country on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

 

Expected temperatures are:

 

Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt: High 29°C, Low 17°C;

 

North Coast: High 27°C, Low 16°C;

 

Upper Egypt (North): High 32°C, Low 15°C;

 

Upper Egypt (South): High 36°C, Low 20°C.

 

The weather will be cool in the early morning, hot during the day across northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, and very hot in southern Upper Egypt, becoming cooler at night.

 

Across scattered areas of Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, and the North Coast, winds may stir up sand and dust in areas of Salloum, Siwa, and Marsa Matrouh at intervals.
