Iran’s foreign minister says talks with Oman are ongoing on regional developments

CAIRO - 22 MARCH 2026: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says consultations with Oman are continuing as the region faces another surge in military and diplomatic pressure.

Iranian and Omani officials discussed the latest developments in the conflict and the need to keep channels open, according to reports of a new phone call between Araghchi and Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi.

Oman has been positioning itself as a key regional go-between, stressing dialogue and diplomatic engagement as the safest route to prevent further escalation.
