CAIRO – 20 December 2025: Egypt hosted a training course for personnel from several African countries, aimed at enhancing their capabilities in protecting and securing high-profile individuals, the Armed Forces said in a statement on Saturday.
The Egyptian Armed Forces organized the training in cooperation with the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at a military police management unit.
The program included theoretical lectures to refine participants’ skills, alongside practical exercises covering procedures and tactics for VIP protection.
Trainees also carried out both standard and non-standard firearms drills to strengthen their ability to carry out their specialized tasks in their respective countries.
Participants expressed deep gratitude to the Egyptian Armed Forces for providing such courses, noting that they significantly enhance their professional skills in areas directly related to their duties.
