El-Sisi’s honouring with FAO Agricola Medal reflects his food security efforts: PM

CAIRO – 17 December 2025: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on receiving the Agricola Medal granted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

As he chaired the Cabinet’s session on Wednesday, Madbouly welcomed El-Sisi’s honoring with this medal, FAO’s highest honour granted to leaders, monarchs and heads of state in recognition of their support for FAO objectives.

The move reflects El-Sisi’s efforts to advance food security, combat hunger and provide humanitarian support to neighbouring countries facing severe crises, the prime minister added.
