CAIRO – 13 December 2025: Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly arrived earlier today in Qalyubia Governorate to inspect projects under the “Decent Life” initiative, followed by a tour of New Administrative Capital Hospital 2.
Also, Madbouly inspected the Misr Public Library and Shebin El-Qanater Central Hospital.
During his tour of the “Decent Life” projects in the governorate, Dr. Madbouly listened to a citizen’s complaint at the Misr Public Library in Shebin El-Qanater. The citizen stated, “This is my complaint, and I want to return to my job.”
The Prime Minister immediately directed that the issue be resolved, and the governor promptly responded and settled the complaint.
Later today, Saturday, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the launch ceremony of the African Trade Center, affiliated with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank).
The Governor of Qalyubia Eng. Ayman Atyah stated that the presidential initiative projects in the governorate are structured around several main pillars, including infrastructure development, service improvement, and support for the most vulnerable families. The initiative aims to develop the Egyptian countryside and enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided to residents of the targeted villages.
The projects currently underway serve the residents of Shebin El Qanater district and city, with a population of approximately 600,000. The Governor noted that Shebin El Qanater district includes 36 villages and a number of affiliated communities. Under the initiative, 703 projects have been implemented across all development sectors, at an estimated cost of EGP 7.1 billion, achieving an implementation rate of 95.45%.
