Cool weather, rain chances expected in Egypt: EMA

Greater Cairo recorded 14°C at 6:30 AM, with the cold made more pronounced by intermittent wind activity.

The Authority forecast continued chances of rainfall throughout the day, with varying intensities expected from northern Egypt through Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, extending southward to parts of Halaib and Shalateen.

The Authority added that unstable weather conditions are expected to persist in the coming hours, noting that monitoring efforts are ongoing. It urged citizens to wear warm clothing and exercise caution while driving due to the potential for reduced visibility during periods of rainfall.
