Egyptian Drug Authority: Vaccines help prevent 2-3M deaths annually worldwide

CAIRO - 20 November 2025: The Egyptian Drug Authority stated that vaccines have proven to be one of the most important medical tools for protecting humanity.

 

The Authority added that vaccination helps prevent 2-3 million deaths annually worldwide, in addition to millions of cases where we can avoid serious complications and difficult-to-treat diseases.

 

The Drug Authority advised adherence to the vaccinations recommended by the Ministry of Health, especially for children and adults, and clarified that its role is to ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of vaccines that reach the public.
