Modern autumn weather expected Tuesday; Cairo records highs of 33°C

CAIRO - 29 September 2025: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects moderate autumn weather for Tuesday, September 30, with temperatures expected to be warm during the day across most parts of the country, very hot in South Sinai and the south of the country, and moderate at night.
 
Dr. Mahmoud Shahin, Director General of Forecasting and Early Warning at the EMA, revealed that fog is expected on Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 AM, which may be dense at times on some roads leading to and from areas on the North Coast, Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
 
Some low clouds are also expected to appear over areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, potentially resulting in light, insignificant drizzle in some areas.
 
Active winds are also expected across most parts of the country, providing intermittent relief in the shade and at night. Maritime navigation is expected to be disrupted in some areas on the Red Sea coast and the Gulf of Suez, with wind speeds ranging from 30 to 50 km/h and waves ranging from 2 to 3 meters high.
