CAIRO – 13 September 2025: In light of ongoing regional developments and as part of ongoing coordination efforts ahead of the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a series of phone calls with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan.

 

Minister Abdelatty spoke with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq to assess the current situation and exchange views on the serious political and security challenges facing the region.

 

The discussions focused on the repercussions of recent events and the need for continued coordination in political, diplomatic, and economic spheres to support efforts aimed at achieving stability and security across the Arab and Islamic worlds.

 

The ministers underscored the importance of unity and solidarity among Arab and Islamic countries during this critical period. They emphasized the need to maintain close coordination to protect shared interests and promote peace and stability in the region.
