CAIRO – 10 August 2025: Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded five new deaths due to famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, including two children, announced the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza on Sunday.
This brings the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition to 217, including 100 children.
Meanwhile, 61 martyrs (including two recovered martyrs) and 363 injuries arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals over the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll from the Israeli aggression to 61,430 martyrs and 153,213 injuries since October 7, 2023.
Also, several victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at 217 time.
As for those killed at the US-run aid distribution centers in the strip, their number rose to 1,778 martyrs, while the injuries reached more than 12,894 since May 27, 2025, after 35 martyrs and 304 injured were admitted to the strip’s hospitals over the past 24 hours.
