Feels-like temperatures in these areas are forecast to soar to a scorching 47°C, requiring caution for anyone spending time outdoors.
Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta are also expected to endure significant heat, with feels-like temperatures reaching 42°C as the week progresses.
Key Temperature Highlights
- Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt: Actual highs around 39–42°C, with feels-like temperatures reaching 44–47°C
- Northern coasts: More moderate with highs between 33–35°C, though humidity will make it feel warmer by three degrees
- Upper Egypt: Expected to suffer the most intense heat, with actual highs reaching up to 45°C and humidity pushing feels-like temperatures even higher
- South Sinai & Red Sea areas: Highs around 43°C, with intense humidity
Meanwhile, the EMA has also forecast a chance of scattered rainfall between Monday and Thursday in Central and South Sinai, the Red Sea mountain range, Upper Egypt, and some western regions.

Amidst the heatwave, citizens are urged to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure, especially during peak hours, limit outdoor activities, and stay updated with the latest forecasts.
