CAIRO - 10 July 2025: Egypt's economic growth rate during the third quarter of fiscal year 2024/2025 reached 4.77%, compared to 2.2% last year, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said Wednesday.
He said in a press conference after a Cabinet meeting that the Egyptian economy “is recovering.”
Regarding the inclusion of the fifth and sixth reviews of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he explained that a certain number of proposals were supposed to be implemented at a specific time, but due to geopolitical circumstances, an agreement was reached with the IMF to postpone the fifth and sixth reviews so that they would be held together.
