CAIRO – 29 June 2025: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has departed to Spain’s city of Seville to represent President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the upcoming Fourth UN Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4).
Minister of Planning and Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania Al Mashat and Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk are accompanying the prime minister.
Madbouly is scheduled to participate in the opening session of the conference on Monday in the presence of numerous heads of state and government, including Spain’s Prime Minister, the United Nations secretary-general, and various leaders of international organizations.
According to the visit program, Madbouly will also attend the launch event for the Sevilla Platform for Action, where he is expected to deliver a speech.
Additionally, the prime minister will present Egypt's address during the general discussion sessions of the FfD4.
On the sidelines of his participation, Madbouly will hold several important meetings and discussions with heads of government, ministers from various countries, and leaders of regional and international organizations.
