Death toll of Palestinians by Israeli forces raises to 55,297 martyrs

CAIRO – 14 June 2025: Despite the Iranian-Israeli military escalation, Israel occupation forces continued its genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip in Palestine. Over the past 48 hours, Israel killed 90 Palestinians and injured 605 others, who arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals, bringing the death toll of Palestinians to to 55,297 martyrs.

Accroding to the daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the “israeli” aggression on the Gaza Strip on Saturday, a total of 128,426 injuries have been reported since October 7, 2023.

In more detail, the total number of who killed by Israeli forces at aid centers and arrived at hospitals in the last 48 hours is 29, and more than 380 injuries, bringing the total number of aid martyrs who arrived at hospitals from the areas designated for distributing aid to 274 martyrs and more than 2,532 injuries.

A number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews, the report added.

The death toll and injuries since March 18, 2025, when Israel resumed the war on the strip, has reached 5,014 martyrs and 16,385 injuries.

In a statement, Hamas said that the horrific massacre committed by the Zionist occupation army this morning by fatally shooting more than 15 Palestinian civilians as they attempted to obtain food aid near the US-Zionist checkpoint in the central Gaza Strip reveals the ugly criminal face of this occupation. This massacre reaffirms once again that it uses hunger as a weapon of war, turning aid distribution sites into mass death traps for innocent civilians, the statement added.
