Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company confirmed that no flights would operate at any airport nationwide until further notice, based on directives from the country's Civil Aviation Organization, bne IntelliNews reported.

Citizens have been advised to avoid travelling to airports during the suspension period and monitor news outlets for updates on when normal flight operations will resume.
