CAIRO - 5 June 2025: As Friday marks the first day of Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), google searches for expected highs and lows of temperatures during Eid days have shown increase over the past days.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced that the weather on Thursday, June 5, 2025, will witness a rise in temperatures across most parts of the country.
The authority noted that hot weather will prevail during the day in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, warm on the North Coast, and very hot in South Sinai and the south of the country.
The weather will be moderate at night and early morning across most parts of the country.
The expected temperatures on Thursday in the cities and capitals of the governorates are as follows:
Cairo to record lows of 22°C and highs of 35 °C.
Alexandria to record lows o 19°C, and highs 28°C
Saint Catherine to record lows o 12°C, and highs 30°C
Qena to record lows of 24°C, and highs 39°C
Luxor to record lows of 23°C, and highs 40°C
Aswan to record lows of 24°C, and highs 40°C
Arish to record lows of 19°C, and highs 31°C
