Temperatures expected to drop across Egypt Tuesday: EMA

CAIRO - 27 May 2025: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects temperatures to drop across most parts of the country on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

 

According to EMA, Spring-like weather will prevail, with warm to hot weather during the day in the north of the country, including Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.

 

Extremely hot weather will prevail in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, and moderate temperatures will prevail at night in most parts of the country.

 

Active winds are expected Tuesday in most areas, potentially stirring up sand and dust in exposed areas of South Sinai and the Red Sea Governorate.

 

Light rain is also possible on the northern coasts, northern Lower Egypt, and the northeastern coasts.
