Grand Imam attends Arab Media Summit in UAE

CAIRO – 24 May 2025: At the official invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, is visiting the UAE to participate in the Arab Media Summit.

The summit will be held in Dubai from May 26 to 28, 2025, said the Egyptian Sheikhdom of Al Azhar on Saturday.

The Grand Imam is scheduled to deliver the keynote speech during the opening session, in which he will underscore the vital role of media in addressing contemporary global challenges, promoting dialogue, and supporting societal values.
