CAIRO – 17 May 2025: Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 153 Palestinians including 7 recovered) and injuring 459 others, said the Palestinian Ministry of Health branch in Gaza Strip on Saturday.

The Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023 has risen to 53,272 reported fatalities, with an additional 120,673 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble of ruined buildings or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.

On 18 March, Israel shattered a two-month Gaza ceasefire brokered by Egypt, Qatar, and the US, resuming one the century’s bloodiest conflicts. Since the resumption of the attacks on Gaza on March 18, 2025, Israeli forces have killed 3,131 and injured 8,632others, according to the report.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners' Information Office said that the occupation has arrested more than 770 children from the West Bank since the start of the war of extermination on Gaza, and continues to detain more than 400 of them in Ofer and Megiddo prisons, where they are subjected to torture and abuse from the moment of arrest.

The Economist reported that a study by several researchers estimates that between 77,000 and 109,000 Palestinians have been killed during the ongoing war on Gaza.
