CAIRO – 14 May 2025: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized the state’s priority in developing the educational system in a meeting on Wednesday with Minister of Education Mohamed Abdel Latif and Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher.

Sisi stressed the state’s focus on developing the human element within the educational system, through precise selection and qualification processes that ensure the highest levels of objectivity and efficiency, positively impacting the quality of education.

He also underscored the importance of valuing teachers as the cornerstone of the educational process.

Sisi and the officials reviewed the efforts made by relevant state agencies to enhance the mechanisms for selecting and qualifying educational staff. The aim is to ensure that selected teaching candidates reach the highest academic, technical, and personal standards, utilizing state resources for this purpose.

The meeting included a presentation of several key areas for enhancing the components of the educational process, with a particular focus on supporting and building the capacities and skills of teachers.
