Warm weather expected this week in Egypt - file
CAIRO - 5 May 2025: Dr. Mohamed Ali Fahim, head of the Climate Information Center at the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, stated Monday that calm, warm weather is expected to prevail this week, with temperatures set to increase to extremely hot at the beginning, coinciding with the middle of spring.
Fahim added that the weather is suitable for all required agricultural operations, especially the threshing and planting of wheat and other crops.
Fahim further explained that temperatures in Lower Egypt will record highs of 29°C on Monday and Tuesday, then reach 37°C for the rest of the week.
In Upper Egypt, temperatures will record highs of 32°C on both Monday and Tuesday, then reach 40°C for the rest of the week.
