CAIRO – 17 April 2025: Egyptians are looking forward to warm and sunny weather this weekend and into next week, with temperatures poised to rise above 30°C in Cairo, South Sinai, the North Coast, and Upper Egypt.
After a month of unpredictable weather marked by chilly nights and mild days, a gradual warming trend is settling in. There’s no rain in sight, so your weekend plans and upcoming holidays should go off without a hitch.
As for the temperatures, Cairo and the Nile Delta will see highs and lows shifting from 28°C and 17°C today to a warm 32°C and 20°C by next Tuesday.
On the North Coast, daytime temperatures will linger around 23°C to 25°C until Sunday, but expect a sudden jump to 31°C to 32°C on Monday and Tuesday, with nighttime lows around 18°C.
Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai is already enjoying highs of 31°C during the day and 19°C at night, perfect for a warm getaway.
Meanwhile, Hurghada will be a bit cooler, with highs of 27°C and lows of 17°C.
In southern Upper Egypt, home to the beautiful Aswan and Luxor, temperatures will rise from today’s highs of 36°C and lows of 18°C to near 40°C by Tuesday.
