Death toll of Palestinians due to Israeli ongoing genocidal war rises to 50,944 since October 2023

CAIRO – 13 April 2025:  More and More deaths, mostly are women and children, have been added to the toll of the Palestinian victims from the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip, bringing up the total number of the deaths to 50,944 since October 2023.

Over the past 24 hours, a total of 11 people killed and 111 others were injured by the Israeli forces in the Strip, according to the daily briefing by the Palestinian Ministry of Health’s branch in Gaza. Yesterday, Israeli forces launched airstrikes on the Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in central of the Gaza city, causing displacement of hundreds of Palestinians whom were taking refuge in it. Since October 2023, the Israeli genocidal war forced a total of 36 hospitals to be out of services in the Strip.

So, the death toll of the victims rose to 50,944 people, while the injured number reached 116,156 others since October 7, 2023, the daily report added.

Israel is applying tremendous pressure on Hamas to achieve Gaza war objectives, including the return of all captives and the dismantling of Hamas’ governing and military capabilities.

On 18 March, Israel shattered a two-month Gaza ceasefire brokered by Egypt, Qatar, and the US, resuming one the century’s bloodiest conflicts.

Since the resumption of the attacks on Gaza on March 18, 2025, Israeli forces have killed 4,115 and injured 1,574 others, according to the report.

Meanwhile, other dead bodies still remained trapped under rubble and scattared on streets as the civil defence perosonnel could not reach them due to the non-stop shelling.
