Temperature to rise by 7 degrees; Cairo records highs of 34°C

CAIRO - 5 April 2025: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects a significant rise in temperatures on Sunda,  reaching 7 degrees Celsius in some areas.

 

The weather will be hot during the day across most areas, with moderate temperatures at night and early morning.

 

Sunday will witness active winds that may stir up sand and dust, reducing visibility in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northeastern coast, the Canal cities, the Gulf of Suez, northern Upper Egypt, and the New Valley Governorate.

 

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has announced the expected maximum and minimum temperatures for Sunday as follows:

 

Cairo:

 

Highs 34°C

Low 18°C

 

Alexandria:

 

Highs 25°C

Low 16°C

 

Matrouh:

 

Highs 22°C

Low 14°C

 

Sohag:

 

Highs 36°C

Low 18°C

 

Qena:

 

Highs: 37°C

Lows: 19°C

 

Aswan:

 

Highs: 37°C

Lows: 20°C
