CAIRO – 30 March 2025: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi extended greetings to Egyptian people as well as the Arab and Muslim nations on Eid Al-Fitr in a social media post on Sunday.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the great Egyptian people and to the Arab and Islamic nations,” the president said.

“I pray to Allah, the Almighty, to bring Eid to us filled with goodness, blessings, and prosperity, and to protect our beloved homeland, Egypt, making it always and forever a place of progress, prosperity, security, and stability.”

First Lady Entissar Amer also wished Egyptians lasting health and happiness.

“I pray for Allah to bless our days and to bestow goodness, blessings, and prosperity for us and our beloved homeland during the Eid,” the first lady stated.

Egypt is preparing for the first day of Eid Al-Fitr on Monday after 30 days of fasting during the blessed Ramadan month with children excitedly donning new Eid clothes and families enjoying the traditional festive treat, Kahk.

Public and private sector employees nationwide are enjoying a paid holiday extending from Saturday to Wednesday, as per Cabinet's decrees.
