Minister Abdelatty said that Egypt looked forward to maintaining the fruitful cooperation with the IFRC bringing together 191 Red Crescent and Red Cross societies worldwide. He noted the necessity of concerting the efforts of those societies to implement Gaza early recovery and reconstruction plan prepared by Egypt and endorsed by the Arab League.

The minister equally urged that the international community must fulfill its duties pertinent to ending the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, presenting Egypt's efforts on the front of stabilizing the ceasefire and ensuring the implementation of its three stages. Those are meant to accomplish the gradual release of all Israeli hostages in exchange of Palestinian prisoners and starting reconstruction, which will be carried out over around three years.
