CAIRO - 8 March 2025: Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the media center at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), revealed changes expected to happen this week in the weather, as the country is witnessing a gradual rise in temperature values starting from Saturday.

The member of the media center at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority indicated that the maximum temperatures in Greater Cairo are expected to reach 26 and 27 degrees during the day by mid-March, which is about 4 and 5 degrees higher than the average at this time of the year.

She pointed out that the reason for this rise is due to the country being affected by desert air masses and a high atmospheric pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere, with which a spring atmosphere tends to be hot, and we also notice large differences between the maximum and minimum temperatures.

Saturday, March 8, 2025, corresponding to Ramadan 8, will witness warm weather during the day in Greater Cairo and the North Coast, moderate temperatures on the North Coast, warm in southern Upper Egypt and South Sinai, and cold at night and early morning in most parts.

Greater Cairo to record highs of 23 celsius degrees and lows of 12 celsius degrees
