CAIRO – 3 February 2025: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty made Sunday a phone call to his Equatoguinean counterpart Simeón Oyono Esono Angue in the framework of Equatorial Guinea's chairmanship of the African Peace and Security Council (PSC) in February.
The two ministers held talks on the armed conflict in Sudan and eastern the Democratic Republic of Congo, stressing the importance of intensifying efforts aimed at devising political solutions and consolidating stability on the continent.
On the bilateral level, the Egyptian and Equatoguinean ministers affirmed desire to bolster economic ties, trade exchange and partnerships between the business communities of both countries in developmental projects. In that context, Minister Abdelatty invited Minister Angue to better map collaboration.
