President Sisi attends celebrations marking 73rd anniversary of Police Day

CAIRO – 22 January 2025: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is attending celebrations marking the 73rd anniversary of the Police Day on Wednesday. The day is observed every year on 25 January.

Police Day commemorates resistance by Egyptian police to British occupation forces in Ismailia in 1952, which resulted in the death of dozens of police officers.
