CAIRO- 5 December 2024: On behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly departed Cairo International Airport this afternoon en route to Qatar to attend the 22nd edition of the Doha 2024 Conference.
The event will take place from December 7 to 8, under the patronage of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and will be held under the theme "The Inevitability of Innovation."
The Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the opening session of the Doha Forum 2024 tomorrow, Saturday, and will deliver a speech during one of the sessions on the second day of the forum.
He is also expected to hold several meetings with senior Qatari officials on the sidelines of the event, as well as with key representatives of the Qatari business community to explore promising opportunities for cooperation.
The Doha Forum 2024 will feature the participation of global leaders, policymakers, heads of regional and international organizations, UN representatives, and relevant experts.
Over 80 discussion sessions will address a wide range of global issues, focusing on innovative solutions to the challenges facing the world and emphasizing the role of "innovation" as a critical driver of sustainability and development across various sectors of contemporary life.
