CAIRO – 25 July 2017: The Arab Nation is in a state of deterioration because Qatar funds terrorist activities and defames Islam in the world, undersecretary of parliament's Committee for Defense and National Security Yahya al-Kedwani said on Tuesday.

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain will not give up their demands that Qatar must stop supporting terrorism and intervening in the interior affairs of the Arab countries, Kedwani added.

Doha used some private organizations and entities as facilities for providing terrorist groups with weapons and money.

He claimed that Qatar serves plans of the Zionist entity, stressing the necessity of having strong Arab will to fight terrorism.

Kedwani referred that the four Arab countries are performing a leading role in confronting terrorism funded by Qatar and supported by foreign intelligence agencies which target at turning the Middle East into tiny countries for the sake of the Zionist entity.

The private organizations and individuals, which have been lately included to the banned terrorism lists by the four Arab countries, have direct relations to the Qatari regime which supports terrorism with weapon and money.

The Arab quartet added three Yemeni and six Libyan associations to their terrorist list, stressing that "these new measures come within the framework of monitoring the counter terrorism approach that the four Arab nations determined."

In a statement issued by the Arab quartet on Tuesday, three Qataris, three Yemenis, two Libyans and one Kuwaiti national have been added to the terrorist list on charges of promoting extremism and terrorist activities.

The Kuwaiti terrorist, according to the Arab quartet statement, is accused of collecting funds to Al-Nusra Front in Syria.

On June 5, the four Arab nations severed diplomatic ties with Qatar on charges of funding terrorist groups and supporting extremists. Qatar has signed a counter- terrorism understanding memorandum in partnership with the U.S. administration few weeks ago.
