CAIRO - 3 June 2024: The Egyptian General Authority of Meteorology revealed that the latest satellite images indicate that the intense heat wave will continue on Tuesday in most areas, with extremely hot weather prevailing during the day.
The Meteorological Authority indicated that the highest maximum temperatures are expected in the regions of the Republic on Tuesday, where temperature degrees will be:
37 degrees in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt
30 degrees in Northern coasts
40 degrees in South Sinai
39 degrees in North Upper Egypt
44 degrees in South Upper Egypt
On Monday, the intense heat wave will continue in all parts of the country, and very hot weather will prevail during the day in most parts, hot on the northern coasts, moderate at night in the north of the country, and hot in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
It is also expected that weather witness activity in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
As for the temperatures on Monday:
Greater Cairo is 37 degrees and Low is 24
Great Alexandria records highs of 30 and lows of 22
Matrouh records highs of 29 degrees and lows of 21
Great Sohag records highs of 42 degrees and lows of 27
Great Qena records highs of 45 degrees and lows of 28
Great Aswan records highs of 45 degrees and lows of 29
