Hot wave is expected until Tuesday: Weather Forecast

CAIRO - 30 May 2024: The Egyptian General Authority of Meteorology revealed the expected weather conditions from Thursday to Tuesday, as this period will witness hot weather during the day in most areas, with hot weather on the northeastern coasts.

 

et publishes details of the weather conditions during this period as follows:

 

Disturbances of maritime navigation on the shores of the Red Sea are expected, where wind speed hits 50:35 km (h) and wave height hits (2.5:1.5 metres)

 

Hot weather during the day in most parts, hot on the northeastern coasts, extremely hot in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt, moderate at night in most parts, hot in South Upper Egypt.

 

A hot to very hot wave is expected to be felt in most parts as of Friday, May 31.

 

As for the temperatures on Thursday:

 

Cairo to record highs of 31 degrees and lows of 21 degrees

 

Alexandria to record highs of  28 degrees and lows of 18 degrees

 

Matrouh to record highs of  28 degrees and lows of 18 degrees

 

Sohag to record highs of  36 degrees and lows of 24 degrees

 

Qena to record highs of  38 degrees and lows of 25 degrees

 

Aswan to record highs of  39 degrees and lows of 26 degrees
