CAIRO - 23 May 2024: The Egyptian General Authority of Meteorology revealed that the latest satellite images indicate that on Friday and Saturday, a temporary drop in temperatures is expected in the north of the country up to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, with values ranging from (4:5) Celsius degrees.
The Meteorological Authority revealed that this drop in temperatures is temporary, and temperatures will gradually rise again as of Sunday.
Thursday will witness a rise in temperatures in most parts of the Republic, and the continuation of the intense heat wave, with extremely hot weather prevailing during the day in most parts, hot on the western coasts, hot on the eastern coasts, moderate at night in the north of the country, and hot in the south of the country.

Cairo records highs of 39 degrees and lows of 24
Alexandria records highs of 28 and lows of 21
Matrouh records highs of 26 degrees and lows of 19
Sohag records highs of 43 degrees and lows of 27
Qena records highs of 45 degrees and lows of 29
Great records highs of 45 degrees and lows of 29
