CAIRO – 18 March 2024: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Gen. Mohamed Zaki on Monday sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, on the 10th of Ramadan victory anniversary.
In the cable, the defense minister highlighted the sacrifices and valor of the October generation of army personnel to achieve victory and restore the national pride.
On this occasion, Zaki stressed the Armed Forces members' great determination to do their mandated tasks and maintain the oath of loyalty to Egypt and its people.
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Osama Askar sent a similar cable of greetings to President Sisi.
In a related context, the defense minister and chief of staff also extended greetings to the army's commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, members of the armed forces participating in UN peacekeeping missions and civilian workers in the army.
