CAIRO – 11 February 2024: Upon President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s invitation, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay an official visit to Egypt on February 14, announced the Türkiye’s Communications Directorate in a statement on Sunday.

Both leaders will discuss “steps that can be taken to improve the Türkiye-Egypt relations and revitalize high-level bilateral cooperation mechanisms,” the statement said.

They will also discuss the bilateral relations and other regional and international issues of mutual concern, “particularly the Israeli attacks on Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories,” the statement added.

Before the Turkish President visits Egypt, he will visit the UAE on February 12-13 to participate in the 2024 World Governments Summit due to be held in Dubai with the theme "Shaping Future Governments,” where he will be the Guest of Honor.
