French ambassador to Cairo hands to Egyptian Red Crescent emergency humanitarian aid for Gaza

CAIRO – 30 October 2023: The French ambassador to Cairo headed Sunday to Arish to hand an emergency humanitarian aid shipment to the Egyptian Red Crescent, which in turn, will deliver to Palestinians in Gaza.

The shipment consists of medical kit that can be used in the treatment of 500 seriously injured individuals, a press release issued by the embassy on Monday indicated.

France had voted in favor of the resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on October 26 and calling for a humanitarian truce. Hence, the embassy renewed France's call for a ceasefire that would allow the entry of emergency humanitarian aid necessary to fulfill the urgent needs of Gaza residents in a sustainable way.
