Egypt witnesses rise in temperature as of Wednesday: EMA

CAIRO - 30 May 2023: Egypt is expected to witness rise in temperature as of Wednesday, by around 3 to 5 degree celsius, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA). 

 

The weather would be very hot all over during the daytime hours, EMA added.

 

While on Tuesday, moderate weather will be witnessed in the early morning, hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, while very hot in southern Upper Egypt.

 

As for temperatures on Tuesday:

 

Cairo records highs of 33 degrees and lows of 22 degrees

 

Alexandria records highs of 28 and lows of 19 degrees

 

Matrouh records highs of 26 degrees and lows of 18 degrees

 

Sohag records highs of 37 and lows of 23 degrees

 

Qena records highs of 37 and lows of 24 degrees

 

Aswan records highs of 39 and lows of 39 degrees and lows of 26 degrees
