Egypt sees rise in temperature, Cairo records highs of 32 degrees

CAIRO - 15 May 2023: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects that Monday, there will be a rise in temperatures in all parts across the country. 
 
According to EMA, cold weather will prevail in the morning, hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, warm in the northern coasts, very hot in southern Sinai and the south of the country, and pleasant at the beginning of the night. 
 
It is expected that a water cloud will be witnessed in the morning on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
 
As for the temperatures on Monday:
 
Cairo sees high of 32 degrees and lows of 12 degrees
 
Alexandria sees high of  25 and lows of  17 degrees,
 
Matrouh sees high of 23 degrees and lows of 16 degrees
 
Sohag high 33 degrees and lows of  20 degrees
 
Qena high 37 degrees and lows of  21 degrees
 
Aswan high 38 degrees and lows of  of 22 degrees.
 
 
The winter season ended on Monday, March 20 this year, while the spring season began right after, and will last for 92 days, 17 hours and 13 minutes.
