Egypt’s First Lady Intisar al Sisi greets Egyptians on Labor Day

CAIRO – 1 May 2023: Egypt’s First Lady Intisar al Sisi greeted on Monday Egyptians on Labor Day.

On her Facebook page, Egypt’s first lady wrote: “Greetings to all the workers of Egypt on their holiday. Countries can only be standing with the help of their loyal workers, as they are the real axis of development, and the main pillar for moving towards change, development and building a better future and a decent life for every citizen”

During the Egyptian ‘Labor Day’ celebration, President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, on Monday ordered Establishing an emergency fund for irregular workers.

He directed activating the fund immediately after finalizing the legal procedures along with disbursing a subsidy of LE1000 for irregular workers.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi witnessed on Monday the ‘Labor Day’ celebration in Sharkia governorate at the Eastern sugar factory.

As part of the celebration, President Sisi saw a presentation of several projects that were developed with partnership with ‘start’ initiative to support the Egyptian industry.

President Sisi honored number of distinguished, veteran Egyptian workers by awarding them the Work Medal of the first class, and the Medal of Excellence for their efforts.
