CAIRO - 8 April 2023: Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, revealed the launch of a new presidential initiative, which is screening for different types of cancer.

The campaign will screen for prostate, lung, cervix and colon cancer soon, as the minister stressed, during his speech at the press conference held at the National Liver Institute, the importance of investing in human health.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar continued, “The initiative to examine those who are about to get married is the best example of caring for all age groups and a generation of children free from diseases,” noting that citizens do not bear any financial burdens undergoing the president’s health initiatives.

Abdul Ghaffar thanked all the medical teams working in the initiative of examining those who are about to get married, referring to the many months of training on how to conduct a medical examination for the two parties who are about to get married and to provide medical advice and others through specialized and different studies and training.
