Egypt to witness thunder rains, decline in temperature on Saturday

CAIRO - 25 March 2023: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects that Saturday, will witness rains of varying intensity, sometimes thundery and accompanied by hail, and wind activity. 
 
The country witnessed thunder rains on Friday in separate areas, as weather felt colder and the temperture degrees decline. 
 
The wind activity on Saturday is expected to stir sand and dust in areas from the north of the country to the north of Upper Egypt, reaching torrential rains in Sinai, and this is accompanied by a decrease in temperatures in all parts, with values ranging from 5 degrees Celsius. -7 degrees. 
 
While warm weather prevails during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, moderate on the northern coasts, hot in South Sinai and the south of the country, and cold at night in most parts.
 
It is expected that Saturday will witness medium to heavy rains in separate areas and intermittent periods in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the cities of the Canal, and moderate to heavy rains on the northern coasts that reach torrential rains in Sinai at intermittent periods.
 
As for the temperatures on Saturday:
 
Cairo to record highs of 21 degrees and lows of 13 degrees
 
Alexandria to record highs of 20 and lows of  14 degrees
 
Matrouh to record highs of 18 degrees and lows of  14 degrees
 
Sohag to record highs of 26 degrees and lows of  13 degrees
 
Qena to record highs of 28 degrees and lows of  15 degrees
 
Aswan to record highs of 30 degrees and lows of 16 degrees.
