Egyptian FM receives phone call from Serbian counterpart

CAIRO – 9 February 2023: Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry received Thursday a phone call from his Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic, tackling bilateral relations and stressing the necessity of building upon the outcomes of the Egyptian president's visit to Belgrade in July.

The phone call also included discussions on the existing cooperation within international organizations and on the global scale as well as ways to support each other in issues of mutual concern.

The two ministers lauded the growth of economic ties, and agreed on continuing coordination and exchanging visits in the coming period, as indicated by the ministry's press statement.
