CAIRO – 18 September 2022: Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates' Affairs Soha Gendi said her ministry is working on establishing a company for Egyptians abroad to invest in homeland.

In a phone interview with the "Ninth" program on the Egyptian First Channel with Youssef Al-Husseini late Saturday evening, Gendi said that her ministry is working on preparing a plan which aims to encourage Egyptians living abroad to invest in their home country.

Efforts are underway to adopt executive steps by the relevant entities, she said, adding that various incentives would be provided to the Egyptian expatriates to motivate them to invest in their homeland.

The minister, meanwhile, said an agreement has been reached with the Youth and Sports Ministry to give temporary memberships in clubs for Egyptians abroad.
