HURGHADA - 15 July 2017: Red Sea Governor Ahmed Abdullah met Saturday with a delegation from the German Embassy in Egypt to follow up Friday's stabbing attack in Hurghada that left two German tourists dead.

During the meeting, the governor said that such incidents take place all over the world, highlighting the rapid intervention of the security personnel and the arrest of the assailant.

He further underlined that a decision was made to prevent non-residents in hotels from accessing hotels' private beaches, noting that he visited the injured at hospital.

The governor coordinated with the Health Minister Ahmed Emad Eldin to provide a helicopter to move the wounded to Nasser Institute Hospital to stay there until they recover.

Meanwhile, the embassy team hailed the security measures taken to secure tourists.
