South Sinai prepares to hold bicycle racing festival April 2023

CAIRO - 5 September 2022: South Sinai Governorate is preparing to launch a bicycle racing festival organized by a number of Italian cyclists in April 2023, aiming to promote Sinai tourist attractions.
 
The festival aimed to convey a message to the world explaining the most important tourist areas of the governorate.
 
Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, said that the race will be carried out by Italian cyclists to promote and stimulate tourism in the governorate's cities and tourist destinations in South Sinai.
 
He added that in this context, he had previously met with "Michael Adami", the organizer of the Italian cycling race, to make arrangements for the beginning of the race.
 
The Governor of South Sinai indicated that the race is scheduled to be held in April 2023, and it is expected that the number of participants will be from 100 to 150 competitors from Italy and different nationalities.
 
The race will start from the city of El-Tur to the city of St. Catherine and overnight stay, then the next phase will be to the city of Dahab, then the next phase takes them to Sharm El-Sheikh city as the last stop.
 
The preparations will be organized by a tourism company in cooperation with the South Sinai Governorate.
