CAIRO – 13 July 2022: Egyptian entities, associations and communities abroad have begun preparing to participate in the third conference for entities and Egyptians abroad, organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Immigration, which is scheduled to be held on August 14.

 

Minister of Emigration Nabila Makram held earlier this month a virtual meeting with representatives of the Egyptian communities and entities abroad to discuss preparations for the third conference of Egyptian entities abroad.

 

Egypt Today highlights the details of the third conference on Egyptian entities abroad, as follows:

 

1- The third conference for entities and Egyptians abroad launched by the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptians Abroad.

 

2- The conference will start on August 14 with the participation of Egyptian individuals and entities abroad.

  

3- The third edition of the conference is meant to review the ways of cooperation between Egyptians abroad and their motherland.

 

4- One of the objectives of the conference is to unify the governmental and popular diplomatic efforts that they represent abroad

 

5- The conference aims to introduce Egyptian entities abroad to the development efforts that are taking place on the homeland and to promote the Egyptian state in the country of residence.

 

6- Among the conference’s objectives is to listen to their suggestions and inquiries of entities and Egyptians abroad, and work to implement them in coordination with the concerned authorities in the country.

 

7- It also aims to come up with recommendations that would solve the problems, as well as achieve acquaintance and communication between Egyptian entities abroad.

 

8- The conference is scheduled to discuss different topics, including: the cultural role and its importance for Egyptians abroad, the importance of supporting talented people, as well as promoting cultural activities and initiatives, including the presidential initiative "Speak Arabic".

 

9- The conference will be attended by representatives of all ministries and relevant government agencies.

   

10- The aim of these conferences is to listen to the proposals and demands of entities and Egyptians abroad, and work to implement them in coordination with the concerned authorities in the country.

12- The form requires the entities to send a copy of the passport and residence abroad, the name of the country of residence and presence abroad, and to specify if the registration is an individual or an entity.

 

13- Only individuals and entities whose data are registered during the registration period will be able to attend the conference, and will receive identification cards for their members, which are a must for attending.

  

14- In its third edition, the conference will include new workshops and events, the details of which will be revealed later
