CAIRO - 31 May 2022: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects Wednesday to witness a drop in temperatures about three degrees, where the hot wave that was felt during the past days is expected to relent.
However, the authority said that although temperature degrees will decrease, hot weather will still be felt during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the eastern coasts and northern Upper Egypt, while the weather will be very hot on southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
At night, the weather will be gentle in the north of the country, and moderate on southern Sinai.
As for the temperatures on Wednesday:
Cairo records highs of 34 degrees and lows of 21 degrees
Alexandria records highs of 29 degrees and lows of 21 degrees
Matrouh records highs of 27 degrees and lows of 20 degrees
Sohag records highs of 37 degrees and lows of 24 degrees
Qena records highs of 38 degrees and lows of 25 degrees
Aswan records highs of 41 degrees and lows of 26 degrees
